Probably the weakest of the trilogy, as most of the book is non-stop action brought about as a response to the ending of the last book.

I enjoyed this for what it was; I maintain that the first book is the best and is a fun story that did not need a sequel. I believe the ambiguity of the ending in the first book actually works better without being expanded upon.

As far as the ending of this series, I was actually surprised at how nicely everything wrapped up by the end. I was not expecting the ending that ended up happening. I'll keep it vague.

The thing I feel most strongly about is that
Kate should have ended up with Ethan. I was shocked that the broken marriage stayed together. I'm sure other readers feel the same way.

Ultimately a fun set of thrillers that I likely won't ever read again. I'd recommend the series, and I'd be interested in checking out other Blake Crouch books.

The final installment of the Wayward Pines Trilogy was okay. Book 2 was definitely my favourite.

This one felt like a mediocre action movie with an unnecessary love triangle (or square?). There were many scenes of fighting and violence that to me, didn't contribute to the overall story. I did really enjoy the conclusion but it left me wanting to learn more about what was next for the residents of Wayward Pines.

Overall, a satisfying trilogy that kept me invested and was worth the read as a whole.

Well, seems like I have a really good trilogy to recommend to anyone looking for a fast-paced thriller with a twist! I can't say that I'm sold on the ending, which is partly why ended up bringing the rating down a bit compared to the first two books, but I feel like I might be in the minority on this. There is another element of this book which I won't spoil that felt a bit like filler drama masquerading as character development, but honestly, the story could have done without it—I would have preferred I deeper look into the "sci" part of the "sci-fi" element instead.

Even though it sounds like I'm complaining, I assure you that this is a trilogy worth reading! It's very engaging, and it keeps you wanting to know what's next the entire time—there is a reason I read all three novels back to back. How ofter does that even happen with a book series?

A thrilling and unexpected conclusion to what was an incredible trilogy. I couldn't read it fast enough, needed to know the ending.

This was the third installment in the Wayward Pines series and was a great ending to the story. Blake Crouch has a way with words. Though I say that it every review I do of his work it speaks the truth. It's witty, raw, suspensful, and truthful. I get sucked in and can't stop reading.

I like to think I can tell where a book is headed, but I was 10 pages away from the end of the story and still didn't know how it ended. It took a twist that "ended" this series in the most perfect way.
