What a lovely uplifting story! I love the unlikely intergenerational friendship, i love people discovering fandom for themselves late(r) in life, I love elderly people enjoying life even after their spouse has passed away . Also I love an elderly person discovering queer stories. We can all aspire to be like Ichinoi-san in old age! ♡

It's cute
This is such a sweet manga! The characters are so endearing and relatable, and it's nice to read from the perspective of an older protagonist. Though BL manga can be a bit risqué, this manga doesn't show too much of that and really feels wholesome.
