This book was incredible!! Multiple scenes had me gasping in surprise.
Alternating between the perspectives of the two elven sisters helped showcase the depth and richness of the whole cast of characters...and helping the reader make connections that neither sister could on her own. I hope the next book has even more of their perspectives included. The prophecies and folklore woven into the text did an excellent job at building both the elven and fae worlds.

The insta lust disguised as 'romance', the inconsistent mind reading between pila and yeeran , the glorification of war??? Which is supposed to last "Forever" but it only takes place in one field lmao? I don't care about the characters enough to continue reading and see whether there's any development, probably there will be but i'll gladly miss it tbh

I was very surprised with this book, I thought I weren’t going to like it as I’ve seen it on tiktok being promoted a lot, and for me most cases they’re not good books. But this book, i absolutely loved from the beginning, middle and end, the twists and the two different sister chapters are so good. So far, I think this might be one of the best book I’ve read this year!

DNF @ 45%. I’m bummed but honestly this book is so boring and the writing is so lackluster. I’ve never felt this bored reading a FANTASY book. Alas. Onward.
