I haven't read that many romances in my life but from the small list that I have, I have never come across something as real as this tale. Most romances are fairy tale like, that deals with one or two issues in the relationship but after that it's smooth sailing with a happily ever after. Those types of books give you all the right emotions so you feel almost as much as the characters and you get closure at the end. This book doesn't give you that, this portrays real people that have real problems that fall in love. It gives you the whole nine yards. It is a real story, a real modern love story.

Such an amazing book, a bit slow to get into but picked up pretty quickly after Chapter 4 for me. I loved the dynamic of Samson and Rhiannon.
I was very happy that the book went straight into them meeting months after he ghosted so we could get to the real story. I do wish there was more steamy comments though 👀 but still 10/10, I would read it again!
