it was “fake dating” in the sense that, yk, it wasn’t really fake at all.
2 things were clear from the very start of this couple meeting and it was:
1. she likes him fr
2. he likes her fr
i think the premise made sense — fake dating to get the press off his back and for her to get a little fame out of it so she can have a chance at securing bigger roles in ballet. but then it was so painstakingly obvious that they both genuinely liked each other and they were even referring to each other as bf and gf in complete private, so…??????? what’s the issue????? just date fr u literally already are u just have to say it!!!
it was constantly like “omg lowkey i love her but this is fake so i have to remember it’s all fake bc its so fake even tho its real for me and obvs real for her too, i must remember that this is all fake and when she tells me she loves me i’ll freak out for some reason so that we can have a third act conflict”
the last 20% was boring

Esperaba que me gustase más, pero siento que de momentos la historia perdía un poco el enfoque, o no había una ruta fija de hacia donde iban los personajes. Ciertas cosas no tenían mucho sentido (para mí), o se alargaban de más, o pudieron desarollarse mucho mejor (lo de los últimos caps con Sage + lo del epílogo)
Aun así, fue un libro entretenido, tenía el audiolibro de fondo y no era ni aburrido ni tedioso de seguir. Los personajes son muy carismáticos y tienen una dinámica bastante interesante, pero no me hicieron sentir nada. Me reía y me divertía, sí, pero no hubo momento dónde sintiera mariposas por sus interacciones o algo de ese estilo. No creo que sea un libro memorable en mi opinión.

Slow burn, forced proximity, fake dating, celibacy what more could you want?
This book definitely wasn’t as spicy as her previous book however this was definitely more narrative based and the ending almost had me in tears!!♥️
I absolutely burned through this and could not put it down cannot wait for her next one!!
