I love snl and I loved this was giving snl. It was also giving fan fiction, which I also love. Only not 5 stars for being a covid period piece and not making me cry

The first half of this book didn’t grab me. It felt like that could have been majorly condensed without negatively impacting the overall story. The second half was markedly better but still had some odd moments for me personally. Maybe I’m not far enough removed from major Covid times, but I don’t love reliving that time through a book. Overall there were some funny spots but it just was so so for me.

Best advice would be to push through chapter 1 (that’s 146 pages) because the rest is SO GOOD!
