AAHHHH I LOVED THIS BOOK. I devoured it in less than 24 hours. 
I really enjoyed the juxtaposition of the story about a certain cat/rescue situation, alongside a personal memoir/emotion/etc. As someone who has fostered many abandoned dogs - the empathy I have for trying to 'save them all' is reaaal. 
I cried and teared up a few times. I would highly recommend to any kind of animal lover, especially ones who deal with mental health issues. Absoluuute love.

This book is about so much more than cats. It is a beautifully written book about community, hope, the world, cats, and Courtney’s life. In it, she tackles much about herself and the world around her that has been shaped by failing and unjust social systems. Her writing is so vivid and poignant. I highly recommend this book to everyone, whether you love cats as much as me or not. (and if you don’t love cats, you really should reassess yourself).
