I always love Jane Austen’s work but I just left feeling like I needed a bit more from this book. Still incredible though. I loved that there was emphasis on women generally being pushed by others and persuaded to do what others feel is right.

This book made me so happy! I absolutely loved Anne and thought she was pretty different and a lot more mature (she's a whopping TWENTY SEVEN which means she's basically on her death bed lol) than some of Jane Austen's other heroines. Even though there weren't actually that many interactions between her and Captain Wentworth I still loved them together so much
Spoiler. And that letter he wrote her in the end was so sweet!!!
. Also I found all the side characters super hilarious.

For the Jane Austen July readathon, I love this story so much it's my fave with P&P. I love the last chapters the most. I could say that there are a different number and kind of villains in this book. It was such a delight.

Not my favorite of Austin’s novels, I found this one to be more broad in terms of scope, it follows more characters around and I simply do not care for many of them. Call it a literary sin, but the only adaptation I’ve seen of this is the Netflix one with Dakota Johnson and honestly? I missed the humor from it a little bit

I really liked the character of Anne, the minus point is because it is very slow paced and people around Anne are very very annoying

An indulgent romance book but make it fancy and I can brag about reading it
