oh. my. god.
I am speechless.
Absolutely phenomenal.
I need the next book like, now, please.

I'm so conflicted. I've never been undecided on a love triangle. Not even a little bit. But now, with this book, I don't know what to think. I love Julian, he's so sweet and innocent and I feel that he really needs Lena to help him discover this new world. Like Alex helped Lena. Ahh, Alex. He's so wonderful and he freaking SACRIFICED HIMSELF for her! But Lena said something along the lines of it feeling more right with Julian.
Ahh, I don't know what I want to happen. But I need to know, and soon.

At the end of Delirium, I was heart-broken. I truly never thought I could feel so torn after reading a book. I felt with Lena; I cried with her. At the end of Pandemonium, the feeling was worse. My heart was torn out. Over the course of reading Pandemonium, it mended. During the last paragraph, it shattered. This book is great if you like a story that you can feel. You can feel everything. Five stars. I can't wait for March for the third. Please read it.
Honestly, I wasn't the biggest fan of this book. The story had absolutely no point. The only purpose of the entire thing was to cause a love struggle in the third book. There was no real growth of Lena's character, and to be honest I wasn't the biggest fan of Julian. Alex was such a better character, an I felt like Alex better helped Lena in both her growth as a character and her maturity. Julian does none of that. I feel like the third book is going to be reminiscent of a Twilight love story in the amount of times Lena says she's ready to die and then miraculously got saved and has this horrible love triangle to figure out. I guess I'm just a big fan of Alex and knew from the beginning that he was going to come back so the entire relationship with Lena and Julian annoyed me from the start because I knew they'd end up falling in love.
aw the ending
spoiler
So little time with Alex!
I would not put the book down b/c I was waiting for Alex to appear at the homestead. or find her in NYC or something!
& Julian and Lena just should not happen!
I can't wait for requiem to come out now, just to read what happened after Alex appeared.
so YA.

I think that in the year between Delirium and Pandemonium, I must have either grown up a lot, lost my romantic side or something, because I loved every weepy, romantic notion in Delirium and hated Pandemonium for the same reasons. Good YA, but a little grating on the overwhelming sentiments of love...
