Wow. Just wow. I'm not sure how to even review this one. If you loved Delirium . . . you will die over this one. So great!! My whole review could easily just be me finding new ways to say how awesome it is. I'll try to form a few coherent thoughts though :)

The book is told in flashbacks to 'Then' alternated with the 'Now' things that are currently taking place for Lena. Eventually they merge together and it all just builds and builds for an ending that is hard to beat. Maybe my most 'holy flippin' crap' moment in a book.

As always, Lauren Oliver's writing is killer. Painfully beautiful and full of meaning. Seriously, I felt like my heart was going to burst from all of the emotions I was simultaneously feeling while reading it. I love this book and will probably badger my friends and family without cease until they read this series.

I really enjoyed Delirium last year, so I was anxious to read this sequel. I wanted to wait and listen to the audio though--Sarah Drew is one of the narrators that I really like!

Lena is back and living in the wilds, with the help of her new friends. Eventually Lena ends up going undercover and working for the Resistance, which is where she meets Julian. She is thrown together with someone she shouldn't care about, but, of course, they end up falling in love. I'm really, really hoping that the 3rd book doesn't have a love triangle between Lena, Julian, and Alex, her love from the first book. Lena seems to have a habit of falling in love with every cute boy she comes into close contact with--stop that, Lena!

On the other hand, this was an enjoyable, fast listen, and I'm looking forward to the third book. :)

Some of the events felt very forced and the ending was no surprise. I'm still interested to see how the third book goes.

I loved this second book it is action-packed. and Lena developed a strength that is fantastic. this books pace and the actions are keeping the reader glued to the pages.

this book is a lot stronger than the first, and I'm looking forward to reading the third book next.

Lauren Oliver's writing was the only thing that saved the book for me. The forced love triangle annoyed me.

I thoroughly enjoyed the then vs. Now story telling and the introduction not Julian. I don't know which love interest I like more. Oh man cliff hanger!!

incredibly predictable and still 2010s ya dystopian garbage but in a fun way. and better than the first book
