It's not as good as the first book, the pacing was fast, but I appreciated the continued character development and the introduction to the new characters. It does a fairly good job jumping back and forth between timeliness.

I loved this book! I had read Delirium and instantly fell in love with it! One day. I was looking through a magazine and saw this and saw that it said 'sequel to 'Delirium''. I freaked out wanting to read it right then. Of course i couldn't, but I just got it yesterday and I finished it in one day. That's how anxious i was to read it! The ending was amazing, so I want the third one to come out right now! I fell in love with Alex in the first one, and fell in love with Julian in the second one, but now they are both there! It's so hard to choose!

So amazing and epic!!! And Alex is back?? holy shit! I feel so bad for this whole love triangle and yet so excited for the next book!

Ok but 2 times they were able to figure out a keypad password by just basically guessing?!? Other than that I loved this one so much better than the first one!

No sé, este comienzo también me pareció aburrido, pero el desarrollo lo arregla.

“A world without love is also a world without stakes”

After reading the first book in the trilogy and loving it I knew I had to continue on with the series to find out what happened to all the characters that I grew so attached to in the first book. Although this book in my opinion suffers from second book syndrome I still very much enjoyed my reading experience.

In Pandemonium we follow the events directly after Delirum as we follow a dual timeline from right after the events of the first book and a couple of months later. In this electrifying follow-up the old life is dead an Lena sets on a dangerous course that hurtles through the unregulated Wilds and into the heart of a growing resistance movement.

I am thrilled I continued on with the series because by this point I have grown too fond of the characters and the world and I just have to know what will happen. This book is a lot more plot based than the first one and although it was fun seeing more action and seeing Lena take control of her own destiny, the beautiful prose of Lauren Oliver is lost in this book. To be honest, it almost felt as is Delirium and Pandemonium were written by two different authors, there was something missing in this book.

Although the writing felt a little bit off in this book, the characters and the setting still managed to enchant me and hook me into the story. Even though we don’t follow some of my favorite characters form book one in this book I grew a lot more closer to Lena. I loved to see her character growth and it was refreshing to read about a character that wasn’t so naïve anymore.

The ending for me was what made this book outstanding, Lauren Oliver has a way of building up to things and then dropping a bomb on your head and I am all here for it. Once everything was explained I was able to appreciate the story further and get even more excited for the third and final book.

Overall, even though this book was not as good as the first one in the trilogy I am still head over heels about this series. I cannot wait to see what happens in the last book and I just hope that all of the characters that I have come to love have a happy ending.

PS: I still have no idea which team I am in.

The author was a bit pretentious at times in my opinion, using comparisons that were a bit out there, or used too much or deeply.

At some times I was screaming at the book because I didn't like some choices that were made.

But overall, I thought it was a good book (not nearly as good as the first though)

I have been "saving" this book for two weeks now...trying to savour the moment when I could become a part of Lena's story again. I was not disappointed at all. Lauren Oliver delivers a stunning second installment of this series, one where we see just how strong Lena can be. Finding a kind of solace in the Wilds among her new friends, Lena is a part of a resistance against the city and the cure. Moving from past to present, each chapter treats its readers to the journey that Lena finds herself on. Closed off from her memories of Alex and Hana, she is forced to rely on other members of the Wilds, like Raven, for instructions and skills. When she is forced to survive alone with the city's leader's son, Lena must decide whether to be honest with him or lie. Julian is not whom she thought; could there be hope for him? Excellent action and intrigue, this novel was super. Now...just how long do I have to wait for the next book?
