This one was surprisingly good! I had predicted most of what ended up happening, but it was action-packed, interesting and never boring! The beautiful writing of Lauren Oliver is put to better use here :)

3.5 stars - somewhere more than "like" and less than "really like"

So. I've waited 24 hours before giving a review because I couldn't figure out how to do this book justice. I loved, L O V E D, Delirium - unique storyline, great writing, great characters - and was super excited to read book 2. Unfortunately, it had a different style (flipping between past and present) and all the "reveals" were super, super obvious, making the last few chapters almost ridiculous. And, I absolutely despise love-triangles, especially with teenagers who are emotionally stunted (because how can you not be in this society), because it's just going to be a lot of drama that is not going to be relevant to the amazing societal craziness that I hope will happen.

Ugh.

My dilemma is: I want to know what happens to the resistance, but not sure I can make it through the teenage love.

Ugh.

Maybe I should stick to 3 stars...

Better than Hunger Games. Love this series!

I didn't like this one as well as the first, but it was still good. It fit the mold of most other second book dystopias, complete with a new enticing love. I did see the end of this one coming, but it still makes me want to finish the series.

Hmmm.... this book is simply about creating a love triangle, which is not why I read YA dystopian. It send that the dystopia is just a backdrop to a love story. I'm already invested and I'm curious what happens next, so 3 stars and reading the last one...

Best ending to a book ever ever ever

THE TEA. THE SHADE. THE PINK LEMONADE.

Literally the very last page SAVED the entire book from being a waste of time.

I actually want to read the next book now because of how juicy this tea is.

Im ready.
