Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Strong character development: Complicated
Loveable characters: Complicated
Diverse cast of characters: No
Flaws of characters a main focus: Complicated

Felt contrived at the beginning but went way above and beyond correcting that! Denise getting caught up in the MC because she'd do anything for her kids felt more real than just wrong place/wrong time chaos. I wasn't really sure what to think of Liam at first, he came across as too rough to really suit her at all, but once he stepped in as her protector I bought it one hundred percent. That things kept developing from there was entertaining and romantic, even with the messy plot. (I liked that he was one of the better people in the MC, but that doesn't make me certain if I'll like the rest of the series unless they're also about the better people.)

i loved this book, it had everything to me there was nothing missing that i could see. you had violence, drugs, biker club against biker club, more violence. it had me on the edge of my chair, swearing and wanting to shout at some of the characters in this book. i cannot wait to read the next one in the series. yes there is some things in it not for the faint hearted or under the age of 18 i think, it does deal with some issues some may not like to read about even in fiction. but i loved it. i would recommend.

excellent! review coming soon!

dark tense slow-paced

This book was very Sons of Anarchy like. A good read to pass the time.

It was a decent book - my main gripe with it is that the chemistry/relationship seemed to happen overnight. I didn't feel invested into their HEA.

Meant To Be takes the reader on an exciting ride alongside a Southern Kentucky biker gang. Laramie Briscoe has a knack for fitting opposing ideas together as if they were "meant to be" (yes, pun intended).

Many romance authors handicap themselves by thinking that a plot focused on romance can't be complex. Briscoe does the exact opposite, making the plot rich and detailed and leaving the reader wanting more. I was especially taken in by some of the secondary characters and hope that each of them get their own story.
