while this book was good. I liked the characters it was a little depressing. Izzy seems to be hidden some deep scars behind flippant comments and childish behavior. while there is the whole scerects being keep etc it seemed to have a darker undertone. which is sorta a good thing cause childish Izzy can get annoying.

This one was much better than the first one! Very funny and clever. This family is nuts. I did call John Brown though.. I knew what he was doing way before Izzy got it. I wish Henry and Izzy would get together though. We'll see.

I loved this book. I laughed out loud so many times. It was a great sequel to The Spellman Files. Hilarious!

While not written for a YA audience, the duo of Izzy and Rae Spellman seems perfectly suited to YA's. This book felt even stronger than the first. Humorous characters and situations continue to keep the book and series punchy. Detective Henry Stone plays a much larger role here and he serves as the foil to the Spellman zaniness.

The origin of Henry and izzy's relationship is just so organic. Plus this entry specializes in growing the family relationships and dynamics to a more mature and strong place.
