Well, this was interesting. I loved the concept of the baby narrator and the art was phenomenal! The world building was pretty cool too, what with all the alien species. The plot was kinda cute for the most part, despite the war and the death and stuff. Those robot people were creepy. Also I cannot wait to see what happens now that the grandparents have arrived. I feel like there will be numerous hilarious shenanigans.

So exciting, humorous, fun, gripping, and sweet. The art is lovely and already the story's got me. I'm now devoted to this series.

Well this was a delightful ride. I'm cursing myself for not bringing the second volume with me to work because now I'm not sure what I'm going to do. But anyway, this was a fun graphic novel. I enjoyed the artwork and the plot but I have to say the dialogue between the two main characters was pretty great. I'm super excited to see what happens next.

I really enjoyed Brian K. Vaughan's work with the Y: The Last Man series, so I was pretty excited to hear he was tackling a new project and one that is most definitely distinct from his last.

So far I'm really enjoying this new series! The mix of science fiction technology with fantastical, faerie-like humanoids is quite interesting. Loved seeing a faerie-winged heroine who not only gives birth at the beginning, but is pretty trigger-happy and not afraid to speak her piece is fabulous. Plus, having the pacifist of the two being her sword-wielding husband is a nice twist.

I love a lot of the things done in here, and the art was wonderful and very atmospheric. The variety of scenery and "feelings" were handled well and I'm very much looking forward to more of this!
