I wish more books would have stories with established romantic couples in them. I loved how their relationship was allowed to develop in spite of already being married and with a baby. And I loved how much they were their own individual personalities, and how they supported each other with their decisions even if they weren't decisions they'd ever make on their own. And how they trusted each other to make good decisions.

Basically, this was amazing, will read a thousand times over. (Slight exaggeration, maybe.)

Wow. Intense would be the best way to describe this series. A fugitive family of outlaws on the run. The ghost of a teen killed by a land mine. Magic. Love. Babies. Vengeance.

There's honestly not enough words to describe how amazing this book is, just go read it if you enjoy reading graphic novels. Emphasis on GRAPHIC. Do NOT read in public, lol.

The two things I liked most about Saga Volume #1 is the main storyline and the fight scenes. The illustrations are creative, which is good. I just didn't take to some of the beings. I look forward to Volume #2 to see where the family ends up. Who is this genius the mother wants them to see?
