Another great read

in one of my favorite series from one of my all time favorite authors! I was hooked by the 1st Davenport story and have read everything he's written. John Sandford has away of keeping things moving so fast you get lost in the story and next you know its 3 am and you have to be up at 6. Totally worth it!

Solid, but I like the Lucas and Virgil ones better.

Starts out very intriguing. Small details make you curious to know how things play out, to see how different (deceptively random) aspects all come together. As always, good dialogue with humor. A slow burner but a good read. Nicely wrapped up in the end.

A slow and tedious read. To be fair, it’s probably time to stop reading Sandford books. I’ve done so with Lee Child and C.J. Box since they’ve started to introduce right-wing political bull shit in their plots. Sandford goes heavy with left-wing political issues in his first two Letty Davenport books. I’ve enjoyed these authors in the past when they stuck with just thrills and crime fighting. I have no interest in reading political nonsense, I read and hear enough daily as it is. So, I’m done with Letty Davenport. After 32 Lucas Davenport reads I’ll have to see if read number 33 will be my last.

Great book!!! Letty is a difference character all together than her dad (Lucas Davenport) and the same at the same time! In this one Letty is going after some hackers...and then using them! Dirty tricks happen as always do in Sandford's novels. Read them all in order!

Continuing the sub-series with Letty Davenport.
