Well worth the read!  Can’t wait to get my physical copy but I couldn’t wait that long and had to listen to it asap. I think that only enhanced the storytelling to hear it from Jennette herself. There’s some really tough moments in here but it seems really true and authentic throughout - I hope the process of writing this provided her with some catharsis as it’s well deserved.

This was a very vulnerable memoir and I’m happy to see that Jennette is improving and living life for herself now. I hope she is proud of herself.

this was truly a phenomenal memoir. the writing was so incredible. it feels as though the farther you get into the memoir and the more Jennette McCurdy ages, the “older” and more sophisticated the narration becomes, which really solidifies the storytelling and makes your heart hurt even more for her. while i knew Jennette McCurdy struggled throughout her life from various media posts/outlets, this was still a shock. it’s sad to see someone who made you laugh hurt so badly behind the scenes. this was truly an amazing but simultaneously heartbreaking read.
