I’ve been a Martin Short fan since the Three Amigos days and found this to be insightful and informative. There was so much I didn’t know about his life, especially the early days. Highs and lows, laughs and tears, and everything in between. I recommend it!

An honest, but not revealing, memoir by a true story teller. It’s not brilliant or wonderous but it is a delight.

Would give this more than 5 stars if I could. Big fan of Martin Short and he does not disappoint here as the narrator of his audio book. Incredibly entertaining and funny but also so sweet and heartfelt and genuine. Love ❤️
I listened to this book and loved spending time with some of my favorite characters. Not only a memoir. It's also a wonderful love story.
Laughed… cried… appreciated this audiobook for his unique life story and how he’s learned the value of resilience. Short has faced a lot of unexpected and devastating losses in his lifetime.
Not something I would usually pick up, but it had me laughing out loud. It's also a tear-jerker, though, and I enjoyed that even more. I already liked the humor, but it's got heart, too.
In my theme of reading about Comedians this book was a treasure. I'm a life long fan of Short all the way from his SCTV days to SNL to today. So many funny moments but also poignant times as his wife was ailing. Great insight into his gang of SNL alumni and how they all lived and worked together in those frantic late 1970s and 1980s.
Definitely a recommended read for any Short fans.

I liked what he wrote about how death affects you as a person and how you can look at minor bad experiences as nothing in comparison.
