All the characters are unrealistically and hilariously silly. They would have all be caught by anyone with a shred of competency. It only received the 2nd start because the ending was mildly interesting. Will adjust if the sequel does anything better.

There were parts of the story I expected, like who the owner of the third dna was, but that ending I did not expect. A good whodunit with a little bit of leading to the wrong suspect. Good story

I love a good mystery, but I did not love this book. It started out strong and the story had potential, but it ended up being filled with a lot of nonessential plot fillers in my opinion. I also truly did not love the ending at all. It definitely wasn’t what I was expecting, so kudos to JR for pulling one over on the readers, but it made me feel like I was being lied to for the entirety of the novel.
