The last chapter was infuriating but incredibly apt. A little confusing to follow at times but generally very relatable even for someone younger and raised in a different country, it is unfortunately an experience any afab person can relate to.

I loved this book — as an Asian woman i related to it very much. Oh Misook is a queen and i love her. Jiyoung’s father sucks and he reminds me so much of men that i know. The only man i could tolerate in this book is Jiyoung’s husband. The rest can go into the trash.
