Eh. It ends on a cliff hanger and I didn’t care enough to continue the series, so there’s that.

Dorian is the Prince of the preppy high school Sloane and her brother just got transferred into after their dad's untimely passing. But she's loud and her moral compass keeps her firmly in the way... and that's a problem for Dorian.
There was so much back and forth with the stubbornness of not wanting to be the first to give in! I feel like there was so much depth to the story that I didn't know because I hadn't read the parents books in the series. The story was still good, but the details were kept hush hush, so I don't have reasonings behind why certain people were vilified yet. We still don't know how Sloane's dad knew Callum, but I assume I'll find out in book 2 if I decide to read it!
The story was well written, but the characters stubbornness could be childishly annoying at times.

What happens when have struggled for everything that you wanted and needed in life? And on top of that tragedy strikes! But because of your loss, you gain everything you ever wanted for yourself and your little brother. New school, new opportunities but on your first day at a prestigious school you mess it all up because of your combative behavior. Things don't look for you, you become and outcast because the "legacy" of the school wants you out but you're too stubborn to give in. But you start to feel this insane attraction to one of your tormentors, and one "spicy" night changes all that. Will it be for the better or will it be for the worst? I really enjoyed this book, the plot, the spice, the characters POV.....the end!! That is why I'm on to book 2!!

This book was interesting. I didn't love it but I liked it enough to want to read the second one.
There was alot of typos and parts of sentences I had to read twice to understand which was disappointing.

Wow...
Talk about cliffhangers... and plot twists... I was not expecting that.
This was an amazing read, so I'm so glad I discovered this will scrolling.
I will admit I did skim some chapters as I felt they were too wordy. Other than that, really great read.

The smut was bad but I throughly enjoyed the violence. It was an engaging story and the characters are terrible people
