I could not read this book fast enough. I am so happy I waited to start the series after all the books were out. The love/hate back and forth of the book was like a heated tennis match and it was so fun to be privy to. I usually stay away from drama books and books with all the feels, but this book had me hooked from the first word on the first page and I could not put it down.
3.5 stars. Engaging and I loved the love-hate relationship between the main characters.
Actual Rating: 4.5, Give me the next book, Stars!!
“Love is scary and intense and confusing.” “At one time or another, we’re all cowards in the face of something unpredictable and unknown. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. Fear isn’t a dirty word.”
Toxic. Captivating. Intoxicating. Angsty. Those are just a few words to describe this book. Hate to Love is one of those stories that you are just going to love to hate ;)
Hate To Love follows the story of Chase and Arianna. Chase and Arianna have been mortal enmities for as long as anyone can remember. That is until one night, everything changed. One night, their hate turns into passion. And you know what they say; sex changes everything. Chase and Arianna develop an intriguing relationship. On the outside, when friends are around, they act like they can’t stand each other. But behind closed doors, their hate is transformed into passion, lust, maybe even love. But, as their relationship continues on, the lies that they tell will turn what they have into something toxic. Things spiral out of control and some actions can’t be taken back…..Fast forward 2 years. Both Chase and Arianna have supposedly moved on. However, they’ve never really been able to let go. When the two of them are forced back together, they no longer have the option of avoiding each other. Will the two of them finally be able to forgive and forget and finally move on??
I have to say, I am completely hooked on this book! I am dying to know what happens next! The way things left off!!!! Ack!!! I am just dying!!
Let me just say, this is my first book by Isabelle Richards and it most certainly will not be my last. This book captivated me from the very beginning. I knew that this book would take me on one heck of a ride and with lines like this: “I can’t forgive her! She eviscerated me! She made me fall in love with her. She took my heart, my soul, and everything that was ever good in me and pissed all over it. That’s not something you just move on from. We were enemies before, and that’s exactly what we should have stayed. If we had, maybe I’d still be whole! You want a villain to blame? Look at her.”, lets just say, it did not disappoint.
Hate to Love You was a fantastic read. The characters were captivating. Their story was intriguing. I was hopelessly lost in the toxic relationship that Chase and Arianna had. I found myself addicted to their story. Yes, they frustrated me to no end. They were both stubborn and wrong; too proud to see the truth that was staring them in the face. And when they weren’t at each other’s throats, their chemistry was off the charts!
This is one of those stories that will have you yelling at your kindle for them to get their acts together! And just when you think things are going into the right direction, a nice little twist is thrown in there. A twist that will leave you screaming for the next book to see how it will all play out! I for one can not wait to get my hands on the next book!!!!

This is a true enemies to lovers book but if you’re looking for an easy romance, this isn’t it. The two main characters, Chase and Ariana, do nothing but fight all their lives until they hook up. Then they keep fighting. It seems their whole relationship is about fighting and making up. It’s toxic. It definitely kept me guessing on if they would reconcile and if/when they did, would it last. It definitely brought out the emotions but it wasn’t an ugly cry book. More like one to make me throw my kindle at their stupidity sometimes. I got really frustrated at them both. I wasn’t sure if I even wanted them to get together. Its light on the sexy times, so if you’re about the sex, look elsewhere. A decent read though. I enjoyed it and ended up buying the next book to see how it all ends.
Loved this book!!! It was so angsty but in the best way!!! I totally fell for the characters and can't wait to read the rest of their story!!!
It was all coming together SO WELL until the last, like 5-10 pages, and then SEQUEL SET UP. Ugh why?? I don't want to read another book of these two and their miscommunications!

If Isabelle Richards wasn't already on my auto-buy list, LOVE TO HATE YOU would most definitely put her in that place. Her foray into a contemporary romance, with the story of Chase and Ari, childhood friends and enemies, is absolutely stellar and has me loving her even more.
LOVE TO HATE YOU is the history of Ari and Chase. Told in alternating points of view between Ari and Chase, we discover a couple who is incredibly competitive with the worst communication skills EVER (I mean....EVER). As their story unfolds their feelings for each other are quite evident, especially the thin line between love and hate. It's very clear that despite their protests they do truly love each other, but neither is willing to accept their part in their relationship's downward spiral.
Ari and Chase are both very likable characters. They value their family and their friendships. Even when they were sniping at each other, you knew their barbs were coming from a place of tremendous hurt. They may have exasperated me at times, but I did want both of these couples to be happy and strong for one another...even if all they ever had was a renewed friendship.
I have a feeling book 2 is going to be a gut-wrenching read, but I absolutely cannot wait to get my hands on it.

I devoured this book. I hated whenever real life got in the way and I had to do something other than read it. My heart raced, ached, soared, and crashed. This book was so unbelievably good. I jumped into book 2 right away!
Honestly I don't know where I stand with this book. I liked it, but felt nothing...? If that makes sense. Like it feels when you switch on a TV just to put something easy on, and it plays in the background. I got no feeling at all from this book (except a little sadness, because of the father), but everything else? Nothing. The romance nothing, the "tug and war", nothing.
I'm pretty sure anyone who follows my book journeys know, that hate to love books are my weakness. I could read them for the rest of my life. This book was strange for me, because I felt nothing. No pain, no happiness, nothing. Its never happened before, and I don't understand why. The story, writing and everything was all done well, so I don't know why. I really liked the tennis aspect to this, you can see the author is very passionate about it.
I liked Chase and Arianna. They weren't unique to me, but they are nice characters. I liked their competitiveness (as I am myself very competitive).
I don't know I felt there wasn't enough "I hate you, you ass" or tension filled scenes for me to feel anything. Like I honestly couldn't care less if they don't end up together at the end.
