So I read the original and then immediately read the graphic novel. While I think the images add something to it emotionally, I feel like it not still being written in prose really and cutting some out, also takes away a bit. So for that reason I rated it just under the 5 I gave to the novel.

Beautiful artwork for a beautifully heartbreaking story. Will has experienced so much tragedy in his life. 

I plan to read the full novel in the future.

A beautifully adapted version of one of my favorite novels in verse. The watercolor illustrations are incredible and add a lot to the story. Highly recommend!
