Love an omegaverse book, this is up there for me.
Enjoyed it very much, just got a little annoyed with Thanes will he won't he, but otherwise very good story, looking forward to the next one

Amazing in the omega-care department. Loved this more than most of these types of stories.

I liked the premise for this book. The ideas were there, and it was an interesting take on an omegaverse story. I just didn’t feel connected to the book or the characters. It felt like we didn’t really get to know any of the characters on a deeper level and this could be due to feeling like the book kind of rushed through instead of spending time learning about each of them. I also felt like the ending was predictable and overall, I was just hoping for more from this book.

I had never read Elena’s work before and I love a good omegaverse so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to check out her work and I’m so glad I did!

I really enjoyed the characters, especially Fox, and each guy brought something different to the table. Also, I don’t want to give too much away, but there was something different about Riley that put a unique twist on the usual omegaverse.

One thing that I was missing from this story was the high heat that you usually get with an omegaverse. With the exception of a few (usually when Fox was involved), I found the spicy scenes to be a bit lackluster. That is the main reason I gave this a 4 star rating.

With that said I would still recommend this book as it was an entertaining and heart warming omegaverse. If we get more from this series, hopefully the heat will be turned up for the next book!

In all honesty, this book was a tough one to get through, but, I think the third act so to speak made the whole book a bit better. The first section was slightly interesting. Introducing our main character Riley and her men: Miles, Fox, Levi and Thane. At first, I thought it was going to be another story of an omega trying to hide her designation until her heat comes on suddenly and a pack conveniently swoops in to save her. This was slightly different because it’s revealed she has this omega specific disease that is fatal. Which makes it complicated with her to form bonds with the men. The second chunk of the book was where it lost me. It felt kind of insta-lusty especially with Miles and Fox. I also felt that Levi BARELY got any screen time in terms of bonding with Riley but all of a sudden he’s in love with her and on board with making her their omega. Thane took the longest to come around but there was one scene I felt came out of nowhere. The book started getting more interesting again when it came to her getting treated for this disease. It wasn’t one of those cases where it was like “omg there is this medicine and voilà you’re magically cured and can live happily ever after!” I liked that there was a lengthy process to the treatment and recovery and through that they bonded more as a family. It was very cute how much the men would take care of her throughout her sickness. Overall, it was an okay read. Oh! And my favorite guy was Thane even though he was so freaking stubborn and unnecessarily mean sometimes.
