Knocking off one star for the sluggish bit in the middle that nearly made me not finish. I'm so glad I powered through, that ending was NOT what I expected. I loved how it all came together in the end. Lestat continues to be my favorite.

I've started a new thing, when I dnf a book I read a long time ago, it's set as unfinished. I reread to remember the story and if I can't even finish it then it's not worth counting. If I ever revisit it in the future, It'll get it's new score.
