The pacing was messy, with confusing timeline jumps and a dragged-out romance that only clicked near the end. I never really bought Gianna and Christian’s relationship, it felt shallow and unconvincing, even if their chemistry in the steamy scenes worked.

So Christian Allister is a new book boyfriend. Um because what do you mean he’s been obsessed w Gianna since he met her 8 years ago AT HER WEDDING and has been going to therapy because he’s so obsessed w her?! He saved his first kiss for her!! He wore her hair tie on his wrist. I’m sorry but this man was so down bad and I was EATING. IT. UP!!!!

Gianna was such a fun fmc and I enjoyed watching her grow from her trauma and come into her own and allow herself to be loved the way she deserves to be!! 

I was kicking my feet the entire book!! Dare I say, this couple is my maddest obsession…?
