This was great. I don’t think I like the ending, but it did shock me (the actual ending, not the reveal)

Had me hooked all the way through, rooting both for and against the protagonist; however, the ending let it down a little for me. I prefer solid, conclusive finishes rather than things left uncertain.

Ho hum. Another nasty, unlikable protagonist who may or may not be guilty. Another cast of characters, none of whom is who they seem. If you've read Gone Girl you've read the best of this type.

I think that some of the twists were glossed over and not given their fair dues, especially toward the last chapter, but overall a very good read, especially for fans of female-centric mystery thrillers a la Gone Girl.

Review to come.
