I set the bar kinda low for this book, which was wrong of me, first of all. Jennifer L Armentrout’s writing is so light and witty that you don’t expect the emotional punches she throws at you. I cried ?? I never cry, but I just got so sucked into this world and it’s characters. I love that feeling in your chest that you only get when you have a deep connection with characters. She just did such a fantastic job describing emotions and expressions of others that give you a feel for their real intentions, behind all walls that are set up. On another note, the plot really pulled me in. She would leave all these little bread crumbs and put an idea into your head and then be like ‘hahahahh jk’ and I love that. Plus, witches? Can we see more of them in the next book pls? Jennifer Armentrout just weaves a web around my mind and won’t let me go and I won’t stop reading her books because of that.
