The prince of Hell returns and changes his mind about Layla , which sparks something between her and Zayne. But, there is a reason Roth returns to the surface and Layla wants to know why. The second book in the series will keep you turning the page because come on, I want Layla and Roth together !
Dang this one definitely pulled off the love triangle. I still like Roth more, but Zayne is awesome too! Either way when she picks I will be sad.

Por fin llegué a la segunda parte de la saga y aunque me ha gustado, no me ha emocionado tanto como los anteriores.
Traiciones, motos, peleas y una gran cantidad de besos aparecen en el segundo libro de The Dark Elements. En esta parte Roth regresa de los pozos del infierno con muy malas noticias y tendrá que volver a "trabajar" con los guardias. Layla se ha estado apoyando en Zayden para superar lo que ella creía que era la muerte de Roth pero tras su vuelta no sabe si estar contenta de ello o no.
El libro ha estado emocionante. Sí que se ha centrado más en el triángulo amoroso y también en otras relaciones amorosas como la de Danika (quien cada vez me cae mejor) hacia Zayden y las de Sam y Stacey. También se conoce mejor a Dez, algo que yo esperaba, pero no tanto. La parte de amor es la que han potenciado respecto al anterior y por ello está mejor desarrollada. Con muchos momentos para los fans de los #TeamZayden y #TeamRoth y así todos contentos.
En la trama de acción es donde han fallado. Aunque al principio podía parecer interesante, aunque con un toque de apocalipsis zombie por virus que no me va mucho pero que había conseguido convencerme. Sin embargo, el famoso "enemigo" desconocido me parecía demasiado predecible y no tardé mucho en adivinar quien era lo que me parecía estupido que nadie más se diese cuenta.
Entre todo lo que pasa tenemos tiempo para algunas escenas donde Layla conoce más de su lado demonio y un paseo por el intituto que sigue siendo un escenario principal. El libro termina dejando un futuro muy incierto para Layla por lo que te deja con ganas de leer el siguiente.

These books are addictive. I'm on team demon all the way! She'd have more fun and wouldn't be restricted and bossed around. I loved all the gross and I did not see the end coming. I will immediately read the next one.

Wow, I did not enjoy this book this time around. Zayne has got to be one of the most controlling, over-dramatic, annoying love interests of all time. He literally came running into Layla's room in a panic after being told she fell over....seriously?!?
Roth being the typical I-Care-About-You-Too-Much-Stay-Away-From-Me-I-Don't-Deserve_You crappy part of this love triangle from hell was the worst! Dear Lord, let it end.
Interested to see where the third book goes, but I hope it doesn't undo the ending of this book. The ending was probably one of the only good parts of this book.
