AB. 3.5 stars.
Wasn’t sure if this would pick up enough for me but by the fourth or fifth chapter, I was pretty interested. The relationships developed in a way that kept me guessing until the epilogue. Which…thank goodness for that epilogue. Answered a lot of questions that I would have been furious about being left on the table if they had not have been addressed. This was a more slowly-paced book than I usually go for, but it was a nice change of pace and the story moved itself along well.
