Gray After Dark

It was hard to get through the first 60 pages or so, but then the story really picked up. I found it shocking and fascinating that this story was actually based on a real-life event. I’m really enjoying this author and will continue to read her books!
adventurous medium-paced

It started off a bit slow and I didn’t love some of the tropes in it (ex. Miley “not being like other girls” and her fear of relationships) but once getting to the action, I’d say it greatly redeemed itself. This book excelled in its tense/action packed moments opposed to its story building

I decided to read this because I absolutely loved the book “Ask For Andrea” by this author. While not quite as good as that one, this book was very good. One thing I couldn’t get over was how the main character’s name was Miley. Some names are just too loaded to use…

This was one of, if not the best mystery/thrillers I’ve ever read! It completely captivated me, and I truly didn’t want to put it down. AND it’s based on a true story!
