A short, smart, funny and enigmatic book. Neither the title nor cover give any clues to the story within, and the story you end up with bears little resemblance to that which the first few pages lead you to think you are getting. A delightful, surprising read.

This is a fun little story- sharp, exacting, and a bit insightful. I read it in less than an hour. In it, a wealthy, worldly, strange girl attracts the interest of the media and publishers when her mother disappears. This short story encompasses parts of the book she writes in the aftermath. If you're uncultured like me, be prepared to look up some haughty English, Arabic, and French words. Enjoy!
