I don’t read many books of poetry but I knew I had to read poetry about dogs and was pleased with this quick read.

absolutely lovely collection of poetry all about the love mary oliver has for dogs. very beautiful and very inspiring to me.
Sweet poems about both Mary Oliver’s dogs and a few about dogs in general. After having lost my boy Jack at 14 1/2, it was a bittersweet read. Reading these poems felt spiritual and reminded me that “dog” is “god” spelled backwards.
