I took a long time to finally finish this book because I didn't want it to end, but the ending left me with SOOOOO many questions I can't wait to read the next book. While this installment had familiar characters, it was in a completely different realm so it was a little hard to follow in some ways. Not in a bad way.....

Ok I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SERIES (so far) only reason why this is getting 4 stars is because this whole book seemed to be a big build up for the 6th and final book. A lot of information is dropped, a lot of lore covered, and a lot of “aha” moments.

You will see his love of the Wizard of Oz throughout this one. Loved it.

This book was a little frustrating. The concept was interesting but having to re-encounter those who have died and to have so many close calls and "deaths" was getting old. After this book I am not scared at all for having any of the main characters die and with the ending that happened I would bet a lot on them being "OK" when the final book starts. I hope the next and final book can wrap it up in a satisfying way because the last two books were kind of disappointing.
