Perhaps there are some national security reasons for why the chapters from Clinton on seem somewhat...redacted. It's an easy, quick read, although the citations should be more thorough.
My takeaway? I can't believe the Situation Room was behind in technology used by the rest of the nation. The overly formal rules / procedures hamper the gathering and dissemination of relevant information. The fact that those in the Situation Room were relying on news reports for info is shameful and ridiculous (and underscores the necessity for neutral press). It's surprising how well the government has been able to function in moments of crisis.

Maybe the best non-fiction book I’ve read all year, and top five of all books. I HIGHLY recommend listening to the audio for this book because they include actual recordings of the interviews. I’d recommend this book to anyone.
This was a really interesting read. I honestly had no idea what to expect, but as it turns out a history of the "Sit Room", as it was called, was riveting.
