A really good mystery. Poirot gets involved with a hostel for students, at which a number of odds things have been happening. Some of the events are quite innocent, while others are more serious. Poirot is intreaged by yhe randomness of events and concerned of something more sinister at work. Things start happening in faster succession once Poirot's involvements gets known.

A good book and yet Poirot wasn't featured a lot in in, like he usually is, which was very strange. The police did most of the interviews, etc. It's as though Christie was giving Poirot a holiday from his own book; reduced hours, it seemed.
Not her best but still enjoyable.

I did like the murderer but otherwise found the secret drug ring too much of a stretch

Solid mystery and totally worth it for the amusing scenes with Poirot trying to understand how the normally unflappable Miss Lemon could make a couple of mistakes.
