This book is so long. Why is there still so much book left?! I no longer care.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ A slow, steamy sports romance with fun banter — but too long

Offside had some genuinely fun banter and chemistry, which I enjoyed, and the hockey/sports romance vibe was a nice touch. I listened to the audiobook, and the narration was solid overall. That said, the story dragged. It felt like it could have ended halfway through, and the plot didn’t stay very consistent or focused. I found myself zoning out during some of the slower sections. If you’re into long, slow-burn sports romances with flirty dialogue, you might still enjoy it — just be prepared for a drawn-out ride.

I should have stopped after I saw it was from wattpad but I didn’t and now I must live with myself.

It’s official, sports romances are my cure for reading slumps. Give me all the bad boys who fall first/are soft for her. Loved this one! When I saw the page count, I was worried this one would feel too long, but I loved Carter and James so much I didn’t even care.

You know that viral clip from the kissing booth where the girl has to stop the two guys from fighting by having one make eye contact with her? Yeah……

girl tell me why this was 600 pages
