Probs my least fav Ruby Dixon. I think if he had been slower burn it would have kept me interested longer. I was a wee bit bored.

Love being back in the ice Planet world again!

Corvak things hes been left on this planet as part of a tournament and he thinks Aidy is his prize. They were so sweet towards each other and this storyline inc their 'followers' was really different which i enjoyed.

This was lighthearted and cute. I loved that this got back to the roots of survival and having to figure out the planet together. The big trope here was that they both learned how the planet worked without any help.

It has been so long since a couple needed to figure out the khui and how life on the planet works from scratch. It does feel like the “what is kissing” thing that happens in every book got a new spin with “eat my face,” and I found it hilarious. A lot of the humor lies upon Corvak not understanding the human body or concepts like children.

I really didn’t expect the metlaks to be such a huge part of the story. It was really creative.

I almost left the book more interested in April and Valmir's story than Aidy and Corvak. I just didn't really feel that connected to either character which might have been due to their light backstories in not remembering much about their backgrounds besides a few basic details. That is what knocked off a star for me since they were just attracted to each other with little drama. There wasn't really much relationship trouble at all between them and they worked well as a team.
