Obviously a very predictable plot, but I did enjoy it as a mind numbing summer read. I was not convinced the characters acted in a way a real person would and I was a little frustrated that was a plot through the whole book, especially with the sisters. I couldn’t relate to the relationship between the sisters as in how much they loved eachother since mine is obnoxious, so I think that added to the fact I didn’t love this book.

I think it did all that I expected! and a little more. I really enjoyed the groundedness of the relationship with the rest of the plot though the three week timeline really through me off at moments. It was predictable in the progression of the romance but I really appreciate the external conflict and how to live your life along with the people you love. 5 star mostly for this, maybe if I wasn't dealing with some of the choices that I am in my life right now it would be a 4.5

Nora really should have gone to therapy a long time ago. After a while she drove me crazy but Charlie is wonderful. The story was cute and I enjoyed it, just dang, talk things out!

It took me so long to read this one, I was wary when I found her first two books to be so similar, but holy fuck this is her best yet. great characters, setting, organic conflict outside of the main couple, I loved this one.

I’ve had this one sitting on my shelf for a while, and I’m glad I finally got around to it! I loved the small town of Sunshine Falls and the premise behind the story. Nora and Charlie were compelling characters you couldn’t help to root for. I loved the way Libby and Nora loved each other. However at times their relationship felt a little toxic, and I feel like Libby was unfair to Nora during their trip. Her ulterior motives felt unnecessarily cruel. Charlie and Nora’s banter was perfectly timed and made me laugh and cry. The slow burn was slow, but thankfully was resolved satisfyingly. I did feel like the enemies part did not last quite as long as it could have, but I did love the tension between them. I struggled to understand Nora’s obsession with New York City, but I’m sure that’s a me problem. The plot held my interest and kept me turning pages. The ending was fitting, but I guessed how it was going to all come together. The epilogue was cute but left me with more questions than it resolved.

An easy beach read, it doesn't challenge the reader, but it's not supposed to. Good for what it's intended purpose is.
