Entertaining read - all the men, and the murderer must be a man, are creepy, each in a different way - so which of them had an agenda to kill Jay, and why? Molly struggles and perseveres to overcome her grief and the horrible memories from her childhood. Well written but the disappointing ending caused this novel to be given 3 stars.

Four couples gather for a 40th birthday party and the next morning one of them is found dead. They are all suspects and this death may be linked to a previous death at one of their mountain homes. Great mystery debut and I look forward to reading more by this author.
After Jay's 40th birthday party, he is found dead in his shed. The book tells the story of trying to solve his murder. But along the way, there are secrets revealed and unexpected twists.
I honestly read this because it was written by my mom's friend, but I really enjoyed it! Not too many murder novel cliches which was a relief.

This was a Goodreads giveaway. I enjoyed the pace and story line but got a little confused with all the characters. I didn't guess the ending either, so that was a plus. I would recommend.

I’m always debating about how to rate books. This one had me thinking about it all day. Not sure if it was the writing or the twists - but I couldn’t put it down. To me- that’s a decent read.
