The book makes a great case for the historical accuracy of the New Testament, i had always heard that Jesus was a real dude but this provides good evidence for it. I think I came into it much too skeptical to accept the supernatural, miracles and the resurrection but it definitely inspired me to do more religious research and reading.

This book was exactly what I was looking for. Explanations, reasons, science, research, history. Very well organized and thorough. A pleasant read of such a “heavy” topic.

Informative and good knowledge to have slow start gets better as you read

Although not quite as good as The Case for Faith, this is still a phenomenal book that has really strengthened my faith in huge ways. Easy to read and with many hard facts to back up the Christian faith and, in this book's case, Christ in general, I believe all these books are a must read for all.

Very good book with excellent arguments and insights from top historians and theologians etc. A couple of things skimmed over, and would have been good to have someone with the opposite view join in the conversations (but this wasn’t a debate book). Will no doubt read again at some point as there was too much to take in at once.

3 Stars • Lee Strobel’s The Case for Christ follows the ex-atheist journalist’s quest to verify Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection through scholar interviews. Accessible and engaging, it argues for the New Testament’s reliability but leans pro-Christian and skips deep counterarguments. Great for believers or curious readers, less for hardcore skeptics. Slightly dated (1998).
