It was a really passionate book. I loved it. normally I do not like very sweet FMCs but Hazel was a delight. Also, the passion between her and death was beautiful though it felt a little rushed. the story starts out slowly but the ending is rushed. anyways it was enjoyable

DNF, the book was just to slow. the fmc got on my nerves. she accepted her abuse willingly saying that she was doing it to keep her dad happy. i'm positive if she had told her father what was happening he would have left the woman in the dust. she is also incredibly stupid not piecing together information i found out within three chapters.

it wasn't a bad plot idea but i can't say that i enjoyed it.

Who knew Death could be such a kind gentlemen.
This book made me smile and giggle like a school girl.
And the ending made me cry.
Absolutely loved it.

The first half of this book hurt to read on a level I wasn't expecting.
The second half was a lot more tame as our FMC found salvation, so to speak. Her meekness annoyed me at times, her constant need to apologise and show gratitude, but there came a point where I realised her behavior was an instinctive response to her trauma, and it was actually something I recognized in myself.

Needless to say, this was a fairly decent read. I'm definitely craving the next book and added it to my TBR immediately.
Would I reread this? Probably not. Will it still have a place of pride on my shelf? Most certainly.

I saw this book on tik tok thinking to myself it's going to be exactly my cup of tea. In theory, it is, but the writing in this book is just... really not good at all.
I wish I didn't have to be this mean, but I've read a romance with death on wattpad written by a thirteen years old that was much superior to this.
Of course lots of people are going to love the feel of this book but for me, this book was unfortunately a bad experience from beginning to end.
