Staying up past my bed time wholesome

Starting to be Vi's fangirl... but...

Lets start with one thing this book starts number of facepalm moments and after that you just fall in love with whole setting. One thing you all need to know is that grandma is the best thing in this book. Non existing filter for that woman.

When i say this book has heads and tails ... this book has heads and tails. Rounded and just perfect in its form.

Dealing with grief in this book is nothing foreign to Vi and Pen's books

Been anticipating this one since I’ve heard a lot of good reviews but I didn’t love it as much as I thought I will. Will be back with a review!

This was so refreshing and different. I went into this thinking that it would be a grumpy x sunshine office romance but I am so happy that it wasn't that.

lowk disappointing. had potential but like yaz

Very cute story! Only thing that would’ve made it five stars for me is if there was more tension and more buildup, but other than that, I loved both characters and the way they interacted with each other :)

As always Vi Keeland makes me fall in love with the characters so easily.
Merrick and Evie was absolutely perfect.
Their first meeting was brought to you by cherries, quite literally cherries who would of thought but anyway it makes an interestingly funny meeting.
It seems to have it all, sweet moments, funny moments and moments that make your heart stop beating for a second.

I’m not sure I can find the words to give this book justice. It was just so good. This story doesn’t feel like a romance novel. It feels like a real story where two people are going through the challenges of life, and just happen to meet and fall in love. Something about the way Vi Keeland writes her novels always makes me consumed by the story, and fall for the main characters along the way. I care about them individually before I care about them as a potential couple. This wasn’t a novel about Merrick and Evie, it was a story about Merrick and a story about Evie. They just happened to find their missing piece while life was happening around them.

When Vi’s stories break your heart, it’s always because of circumstance. It’s not someone making an immature or silly mistake, it’s very real. It makes sense. It’s easy to see how things go wrong. I think what I loved most about this story is the healing that happened for both Merrick and Evie, and how it made them better versions of themselves. This was a really beautiful story and I’m so happy to have read it.
