The second I started reading this book I absolutely fell in love with it. From Merrick and Evie’s first meeting, to their continued run ins in the beginning, and Kitty.

Evie and Merrick both have pasts that bring a lot of baggage and emotions to the table. The biggest difference is how each of them handle it. I admire Evie’s strength and fight. Merrick, I felt for him and my heart absolutely broke learning about his past and his story. The two of them were perfect for each other. I loved the chemistry and the connection they shared from the start.

KITTY! I LOVED her so much! She had me laughing so many throughout the story, but also was full of so much advice and wisdom. Hands down one of the best secondary characters.

If you’re looking for a slow burn work place romance this is one to check out.

While not my favourite book by Vi Keeland, I did enjoy this book. I really liked Merrick and Evie’s characters and Merrick’s grandma was a real hoot!! Their story was interesting to read about and I liked that it was good from two POV’s.

How can I give it more stars????!!!!

“Often the things that scare us the most are the ones that have the potential to change our lives. But if you open your heart and believe your happiness can happen, it will.”

Y lo del vidrio Dios mío they are too cute and funny. Ok termine so freaking cute ame el final y la abuelita manifestando so freaking cute!

Loved it! But I called Merrick “Maverick” all the time

Immediately, from the opening lines, The Boss Project had me hooked! It screamed, fun, fun, fun. And for the most part it was - fun, sexy, and unbelievably swoony! But it was also something else, something so much more. It was heartfelt and really brought to life some deep feels that left me breathless. And it wouldn’t be a Vi Keeland novel without an emotional twist!

I loved Merrick and Evie’s relationship. I fell for them from their hilarious meet cute and my adoration only increased as the story progressed. The banter between them and the constant flirtation made for a light-hearted kind of angst while the chemistry between them fogged up the entire place. You’ll be forgiven for being so distracted by all the sexual tension flying around these two that you completely miss the underlying emotional plot creeping up on you. But when it does, all that light-hearted tension turns this book into a deliciously angsty read that packed a surprising emotional punch.

All in all this book was wonderfully written with great characters, oodles of chemistry, lots of laughs, many sweet moments and even a tear or two thrown in for good measure. It delivered everything I could have asked for and that epilogue…swoooon! When you start and finish a book with a huge smile on your face, you know it’s a winner.... I adored it!

I’m not sure about that book. For my there’s too many pages about his old relationship. I don’t need all this informations. So I’m not sure if like it or not
