I liked this book, but at the same time unfortunately it wasn’t too memorable. It was still a good escape from the world for a bit.

This one was kind of boring and derivative of the author's other work.
I appreciated the honesty and sincerity of both main characters. They weren't at all flawed on their own, just victims to their circumstances. It made this one pretty low angst and unfortunately it wrapped up a bit too quickly.

this book was good but not great. at points it felt too slow, but overall, i really liked the characters and the plot so i dont have too much bad stuff to say about it.
This book was honestly boring. There was nothing happening. I mean I love slow burns but this was just slow without the burn. The characters were dull, the wasn't any chemistry. It was honestly just boring. I was even surprised that Merrick and Evie ended up being a couple. I'm not even convinced they needed to. On top of it all, they only got together at 60% of the book but there was still a third act break up? Make it make sense??
Overall a totally boring book. I can't belive I waited an entire month for it to be released.
