Lovely, clever funny.
One of the other reviews on here said it felt like YA. It is  YA, and I'm 46 and I loved it.
A really interesting premise and nicely done not all of the themes quite worked but it was lovely and I am going to miss Naomi and Will.
Great playlist too that somebody has created on Spotify.

3.5 ⭐️ that was soooo cute i love will so much and his silly little records and HE MENTIONED NICK DRAKE AND ELLIOTT SMITH AND JEFF BUCKLEY goddamn i love him wow

james was kind of annoying he seemed sweet but like bland also and im glad naomi ended up choosing (kinda?) will in the end bc hes so much better and its better to date a music nerd than a film nerd as someone who is both of those things

i loved tomorrow x3 so much so i had high hopes going into this one & it reminded me just how much i love Gabrielle’s writing.

this book is about Naomi, who slips and falls down stairs outside her school and loses the last 4 years of her memory. she knows she is adopted, she remembers her primary school teachers, she knows who her parents are, but she can’t remember her best friends, her parents divorce, who her boyfriend is, why she doesn’t like her dads fiancé, and why she loves photography. all she knows is that she’s woken up in an ambulance with the boy who found her, and has no idea of who she is or who she wanted to become.

Naomi understandably struggles with fitting back into her life, and feels like a stranger in her own body. the only thing that feels constant and comfortable to her is her best friend, Will. as she slowly tries to learn what sort of person she is, she starts to grow as a brand-new person.

this book does an amazing job at portraying a person who is lost and directionless, and is so realistic. the characters are flawed, damaged, some are unlikeable, but that’s what makes this book so real. Naomi is unsure of how to live her life and i really enjoyed going on this journey with her as she grapples with new challenges, love interests, and trying to decide whether you really are that version of yourself in the past or whether to start anew.

the book touches on a lot of important themes - mental health, friendships, family relations, and grief - and really reminded me of what it’s like to be a teenager and trying to figure out who you are. this is definitely a memorable read and one i’d recommend to anyone, especially if you enjoyed tomorrow x3

Whiplash warning. You're going to have your head turned a couple different ways and it's just going to leave you with the impression of teenage girls being incredibly fickle!

Overall, it was a realistic portrayal of a teenaged girl with the undying love and immediate forgetfulness of aforementioned love and then the convenient affection bestowed on the nearest romantic possibility. It was okay. It's a pretty good young adult book but I would be considered about girls getting the idea that being left alone on a beach for four hours without your phone is something you can only get a 'little bit mad' at and then not even voice it at that.

While mental health is serious and I feel this book considered it so, the lack of self-respect and the complete desire to just make sure the man is happy was over the top. The feminist in me was screaming in agony.

What can I say? Zevin writes brilliant novels about love, but not oh so typical ones.

Naomi taking her path of trying to live without the last four years of her life is not an adventure many would ask for. Things could've been worse and it's mostly everyone expecting her to be the same even after they realize she truly cannot be.

In a way without becoming a teenage amnesiac she would not have learned who she is and make such huge growths as a person.

Devoured in one evening and one morning. I liked Naomi, she was witty and raw. Her relationship with James felt necessary and maybe a little destructive. Will charmed in this book. I appreciated the light commentary on mental and physical health, and familial, platonic and romantic relationships. It felt like a lighter Ari and Dante story.
