Brené is just always excellent. Strong mix of human experiences to match the researched data.
Highly recommend the audiobook, read by the Queen herself.

I liked this one a lot, I'd probably give it 3.5 stars if possible. I want to read some of her other books. I really think it is important to realize how much shame we carry around and to try to let go of it and not pass it on to those under our charge including our own family, people at church, peers, co workers, etc.

Cried the whole way through. a necessary read for anyone who struggles with vulnerability and shame. I felt like I was being kind to myself simply by reading it. Brené Brown writes in a voice that is so human and open.
