This book is soooooooooo creeeeeppyyyyyy. lol if I see a worm I squirm. I love how different each character is! I love the details in this book whether it was about the characters, the science or the actions taking place. It felt like I was right there!

This book made an everlasting mark on my psyche. It was absolutely horrific in the most mesmerizing way. As someone who loves horror, this actually terrified me but I was hooked. It was like Lord of the Flies meets Resident Evil; it’s about survival of the fittest but they’re facing off against bioengineered worms. Warning: if you are bothered by body horror and the harm of animals, tread lightly. There were a few parts that were definitely an exposure for me, but I was so immersed in the story. It’s so revolting and disturbing to get through but it’s like you can’t stop reading because of how well-written it is. I think I’ll have to read more of Nick Cutter’s books now.
