This was so cute and precious. I know it's a child's book, but it made me so happy hearing the innocence about young Clementine.

Listened to in the car while driving to Indiana. Josh and I found it funny and cute- a little too similar to Junie B and Judy Moody, but still cute. Kids didn't get into it as much as I thought they would. Enjoyed the reader, altho she took a little while to grow on me.

This is a very good look of what goes on in the head of this kind of child.

This was a fun light hearted little read! I love the name Clementine and saw this, and thought I’d give it a go.
It was funny and I think kids would really enjoy the humour of the book. I love the glimpses into Clementines neurodiverse (?) mind and how she views the world.

Clementine is an artist in her own right. She provides great hair tips to her friends and generally adds her own pizzazz to life.

Clementine gives Judy Moody and Junie B Jones a run for their money.

Apparently my mom saved the books I read as a kid and I was bored so I read Clementine. I loved this series as a kid and it was so fun to read them now that I've grown up. Very nostalgic. Wish I had red hair like Clementine.

I was looking for an audio book at the library and the children's librarian recommended this one. My children really enjoyed it. It really reminded me of Junie B. Jones, so if you have a fan of her they will probably love Clementine as well. I thought that would be the first character my children would be reminded of, but my daughter thought of Ramona first. Then I turned the case over and Booklist compared Clementine to both Junie B. and Ramona!

Things just keep going wrong for Clementine, but part of it felt forced to me. Like a third grader would really think things were going to be okay when she was drawing with permanent marker on her friend and her hair? I hope my children have more sense than that, but they did enjoy listening to her antics and how things just kept getting worse and worse. I do have to say her circular logic reminded me of my children at times though.

This is the first book in the series and it looks like there are four or five more.
